Its helping me in an argument with my uncle about whether an attack on the dairy industry is an attack on calcium which  then transformed into- we need to get calcium from milk only. So this has been helpful ---except for the parts about fortified foods being good sources. Read Judith DeCava&#039;s &quot;The Real Truth about Vitamins and Antioxidants&quot;. Synthetic so-called nutrients are no health conscious person&#039;s friend...&quot;These words are red flags – if a food needs to be fortified or enriched, you can bet it was already dead.&quot; Thanks for listening :)</description>

		<description>I love the part about milk being the perfect food for baby cows.  We are the only species that drinks milk beyond infancy and then it&#039;s ANOTHER SPECIES&#039; milk.  It&#039;s kinda gross without even getting into what is IN the milk.  I prefer snacking on almonds and soy milk any day! :))</description>

I know it&#039;s in every nutrition book but spinach is NOT a good source of calcium because it contains high levels of oxalats which actually bind calcium and interfere with absorption. Love your blog titel - that&#039;s exactly what I do every day (in that order, I wish it would be the other way round ;)).
