BREAKING NEWS: Veg Diets are Healthy!

FINALLY the American Dietetic Association is advocating a Vegetarian Diet! And guess what! They promote VEGAN DIETS too!!!

And not only are they saying that Veg diets are OK, they are saying that Vegetarians and Vegans:

  • Decrease risk of ischemic heart disease
  • Have lower low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, and lower rates of hypertension and type 2 diabetes than nonvegetarians.
  • Have a lower body mass index and lower overall cancer rates.
  • Have lower risk of chronic disease.

They also say a sound VEGETARIAN DIET IS OK DURING PREGNANCY and may “result in positive maternal and infant health outcomes.”
